On December 11th, Sock by Sock had the honour of presenting to students in the Business Innovation program at Avans University of Applied Sciences in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. In this program, students from various disciplines come together to develop their own innovative businesses—breaking boundaries and thinking creatively.
Our session encouraged the students to challenge standard, symmetrical thought patterns by starting small: mixing and matching socks. The message landed so well that even the lecturer wrote to us:
“The students found it a fun and inspiring lesson. Thank you for sharing your story! I’m even taking the idea home—no more matching socks for my husband and two sons. One box for all socks: easier and more sustainable!”
We’re thrilled to see how a simple, rebellious idea can inspire new ways of thinking. A big thank you to Avans Hogeschool, the students, and the teaching staff for their enthusiasm and participation.
