On December 9th, Sock by Sock had the pleasure of lecturing at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. We were invited to speak to 4th-year students of the Entrepreneurship & Retail Management program, diving into the evolving role of sustainability in today’s marketing mix.
During the session, we explored how sustainability and current affairs influence the customer decision-making process, highlighting the growing importance of responsible choices in retail strategies. With real-world examples and practical insights, students gained a deeper understanding of how businesses can balance profit with purpose while meeting customer expectations in an ever-changing landscape.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Denise Vink, Marc van Ee, and the Haagse Hogeschool team for their warm hospitality. A big shoutout as well to the students for their engagement, thoughtful questions, and curiosity—your enthusiasm for the future of retail is inspiring.
Sustainability isn’t just a trend—it’s a movement. And together, we shape what comes next.
